Fighting with Matatus!

Dear Friends

The next time you are behind the wheel driving down the highway in Kenya, notice how many times you witness the phenomena of Road Rage, particularly with every day road users and Matatu buses! Are matatus a menace on the road? Yes! Do they drive us all crazy? Yes! Do they endanger lives? Yes! However, please consider that fighting with them and trying to "win" some imaginary war is not the answer! It only increases your blood pressure, increases your stress levels and could possibly get you into an accident or even a dangerous confrontation!

A wise saying found on the internet: Realize that you cannot control the drivers around you. You can control only the way you react to them!

Enjoy your day!

The streets of Nairobi are not to be treated as a rally course.

Dakar is though... Go Glen!!!

May be your esteemed driving school could consider partnering with the other institutions that manage driving habits on our roads eg Kenya Police traffic department, Insurance companies,Kenya Revenue Authority and other stake holders to come up with rules & regulations on who should be driving these monsters called "matatus".With over 40,000 matatu buses on our roads,a mandatory certificate course for PSV drivers would be the ultimate solution to this menace!!!
